Angie and Lisa, I'm so sorry about your mom. She was one of my favorite people at Cokesbury and could always make me laugh. Gladys was one of a kind and certainly a joy to know. I hope to see you tomorrow.

- Judi Blake, Savannah, GA

Lisa and Angie, A Mother occupies our hearts as no other person in our lives. When the time comes for them to leave this earth we experience a pain like no other. Lollie is experiencing a new journey where she is whole again in mind and spirit. She is on this journey with Pop and Jimmy. Always remember she is the one watching over you now. You all are in our thoughts and prayers.

Lollie was a lovely person, both inside and out. She was gracious and graceful and appeared to grow more beautiful with age. My heart aches over the losses the Elliott family has endured over the past several years. I have been blessed to be a part of their extended family. On Monday I have an appointment at Duke University to be tested to participate in a long term Alzheimer's drug study. I am doing this for those we have loved and lost - our sweet Jimmy, Pop and Lollie - and for all those we love who may be in the path of this terrible disease. My love and prayers are with you all today as you celebrate Lollie's long and productive life and her reunion with her loved ones in Heaven.

- Sarah Brooks Joyner, Cary, NC

Lisa, My heart goes out to you and your family as you mourn the loss of your sweet mother. We have both been so fortunate to have our parents with us for so long, but that does not lessen the pain of their passing. My love to you always, dear friend.
